Arc memecoins: what exists on Circle's Arc, where to trade, and what to watch

The Meme Central Editor·9 min read·Updated 12 Sept 2026

There are no Arc memecoins yet — mainnet opens 16 September 2026. What is actually being built, where trading will happen, and what to check first.

That feed is live and it is empty, and that is the correct state. Circle's Arc mainnet does not open until 16 September 2026, so nothing has launched on it, nothing trades on it, and anything offering you an Arc memecoin today is offering you something else.

The honest answer as of 12 September 2026: there is no Arc memecoin market on the Arc blockchain, because there is no mainnet. There is a public testnet — live since 28 October 2025 — where tokens can be deployed with faucet funds that have no value. There is a large, well-documented set of infrastructure projects that have said they will be on the chain. And there is a four-day window before the launch in which the gap between "announced" and "shipped" is going to be exploited by people who want your USDC.

This guide covers three things: what is actually there, where trading will happen when it happens, and what to check before you touch any of it. It does not name a coin to buy, on Arc or anywhere else, and it never will.

What flips on 16 September, and what does not

Mainnet opening changes exactly one thing that matters to a memecoin trader: transactions on Arc start costing real money and settling real value. Everything else — which launchpad works, which DEX has depth, whether a token can be sold as easily as it was bought — stays unknown until people start using it with their own capital.

Two things will not change on the day. Gas on Arc is paid in USDC, not a volatile native coin, and that is true on both sides of the launch. And nobody at Circle vets what gets deployed. Arc runs an EVM execution layer, which is what makes it familiar to anyone who has used MetaMask, and it is also what makes deploying a token there as permissionless as on any other EVM chain. An institutional validator set secures the ledger. It does not read your token's contract.

So treat the 16th as the starting gun on a market with no price history, no established contract addresses, no reputations and no liquidity — the four conditions under which memecoin scams work best. Our Arc scams and safety guide covers the specific vectors; this page is about the landscape they will operate in.

Where trading will actually happen

Two names carry most of the expectation, and both come from the same primary source: Circle's press release of 5 August 2026 announcing Arc's founding validator cohort and integration partners. That release names Uniswap Labs and Aerodrome among the protocols it describes as powering liquid markets on the chain, alongside Aave, FalconX, Galaxy, GSR, Keyrock, Morpho, Nonco and XFX.

Read that carefully, because it is a weaker claim than it looks. Circle characterising an ecosystem is not the same as a protocol confirming a shipped deployment, and the release attaches no per-project date. As of 12 September 2026 no DEX has settled a trade on Arc mainnet, for the simple reason that no one has.

Beneath those two sit a set of smaller, Arc-native names — AstraPump, RadarDEX, Tower Exchange, ArcSwap — that appear in ecosystem roundups and, in Tower Exchange's case, in Circle's own Builder Spotlight. Being named by Circle means a team is building. It does not mean the product is complete, audited, or capable of holding a peg under real withdrawal pressure. Those are two separate facts and it is worth keeping them separate in your head.

If you want a neutral, dated view of who is in this category rather than a ranking, the independent directory Built on Arc maintains the exchanges and trading venues tracked on Circle's Arc with the evidence behind each entry. We cover the trading side in more depth in our own Arc DEX rundown.

Where tokens will actually be created

The launchpad category is thinner than the DEX category and considerably noisier. Four names recur: ARCLaunch, whose public footprint as of mid-September consists overwhelmingly of one press release syndicated across a dozen low-quality PR sites in mid-August 2026; uarc.me, which has a tagline ("Launch on Arc. Trade in USDC.") and not much published beyond it; AstraPump, which bundles one-click issuance with immediate trading; and TrustSwap's stack — MintPlus for token creation, Team Finance for liquidity locking and vesting, and the TrustSwap Launchpad for vetted raises.

(Disclosure: Meme Central is part of the TrustSwap ecosystem. Read that section knowing it.)

None of these has processed a real-value launch on Arc, because none could have. Of the group, Team Finance's locking contracts are the only ones described as audited in anything we can verify, which is worth exactly what an audit is worth — one fewer unknown, not a safety guarantee. The full category, including projects we have not named here, is listed under Arc launchpads, NFT and meme projects in the same directory, and our own criteria-driven view is in the best Arc launchpads, compared honestly.

What to watch, in the order it will matter

Before the 16th. Get your wallet and your USDC ready and do nothing else. There is no legitimate pre-mainnet Arc memecoin, no legitimate presale, and no legitimate reason for anyone to need your wallet connected to an Arc token today. If you are setting up, how to bridge USDC onto Arc is the order of operations.

On the day. The official mainnet RPC and block explorer URLs had not been published as of 12 September 2026. Copy them from docs.arc.io yourself when they appear. The mainnet chain ID is 1243 per ChainList. A stranger handing you an RPC URL in the launch-window chaos is running a wallet drainer, without exception.

In the first hours. Contract address, not name, not ticker. On a chain with no token list, ticker collisions are not an edge case — they are the default. Our automatic impersonation and ticker-collision flags exist for exactly this window, and a flag is a reason to stop rather than a puzzle to solve.

Before any buy. Liquidity depth, whether the pool is locked and by whom, how much supply sits in wallets that all funded within the same block, and whether a sell actually executes. The last one catches honeypots and people skip it constantly. Our step-by-step buying walkthrough runs the whole sequence.

After. Put it on a watchlist and decide your exit before you are emotionally invested in the position. That is the trade that actually determines your outcome.

What this guide will not do

It will not tell you an Arc memecoin is coming that is worth buying, because we do not know that and neither does anyone telling you otherwise. It will not predict the price of anything, including the separate ARC governance token. And it will not describe any of the launchpads or DEXs above as safe — most of them have shipped nothing, and the ones that have shipped elsewhere have not shipped here.

TrustSwap keeps its own Arc resources at the TrustSwap Arc hub. Meme Central is part of the TrustSwap ecosystem.

Not financial advice. Memecoins are extremely high risk, and most go to zero.

Frequently asked questions

Are there any Arc memecoins right now?

No. As of 12 September 2026 the Arc mainnet is not live — it opens 16 September 2026. Any token sold to you as a live Arc memecoin before that date is not what it claims to be.

Where will Arc memecoins trade?

Most likely on the DEXs named in Circle's 5 August 2026 integration release — Uniswap and Aerodrome are the two largest — plus Arc-native venues like AstraPump and RadarDEX. None has settled a mainnet trade yet, and depth on day one is unknown.

Do I need a special coin for gas on Arc?

No, and this is the one genuinely convenient thing about the chain. Gas is paid in USDC, so the asset you trade with is the asset you pay fees with. Keep a small float unspent or you will hold a token you cannot sell.

Is there an Arc airdrop I should be farming?

Circle has announced no airdrop for Arc. A separate ARC governance token exists and its presale completed in May 2026. We cover what is and is not on the record in our Arc airdrop guide, and we do not speculate about either.

Does Meme Central pick Arc coins?

No. We index launches across six chains, flag brand impersonation and ticker collisions automatically, and give you the checks. We never pick, rank or shill a coin, and there is nothing to pick on Arc yet regardless.

What is the single biggest risk in Arc's launch week?

A malicious RPC URL. It lets a page misrepresent what your wallet is signing, and the vacuum before Circle publishes the official mainnet endpoint is exactly the window it exploits. Copy network settings from docs.arc.io and nowhere else.

Not financial advice. Memecoins are extremely high risk.
