Best wallets for Robinhood Chain compared

Robinhood Wallet is the only wallet with native Robinhood Chain support and the only one eligible for Robinhood's gas subsidy, but it is mobile-only. MetaMask and Rabby both work once you add the network manually with chain ID 4663. OKX Wallet is supported. Phantom's EVM mode is reported not to support the chain, and Coinbase Wallet is unconfirmed.

That last sentence is doing real work. Most wallet round-ups for this chain assert support they have not verified. Below, every row is labelled with how confident we are and why.

The comparison

Robinhood Wallet: the only native option

Robinhood Wallet is a self-custody mobile wallet, separate from the Robinhood brokerage app, and it is the only wallet where Robinhood Chain appears without configuration. It is also the only place the gas subsidy applies: announced on 9 July 2026, Robinhood covers gas above $5 on swaps made in Robinhood Wallet on Robinhood Chain. That is a wallet-swap policy, not a chain-wide one — it does not cover main-app trades, and it does not apply on other chains. The limitation is scope. It is mobile-only, so it does not connect to desktop trading interfaces, and its swap experience is built around Robinhood's own routing rather than around connecting to arbitrary launchpad front-ends. For someone buying a few tokens on a phone, it is the least friction available. For someone trading actively across several venues on a desktop, it is not the right tool.

MetaMask and Rabby: the working default for everyone else

Neither ships with Robinhood Chain preloaded, and both work fine once you add it. MetaMask's own X account published an add-network link for the chain, which is as close to an official blessing as a non-bundled network gets — it is endorsed, not built in.

A note on the shortcut: Chainlist has an entry for chain 4663, but its RPC table was rendering empty when we checked on 31 August 2026, so the usual one-click add may currently fail. Between the two, the distinction is the one that applies on every EVM chain rather than anything Robinhood-specific. Rabby simulates transactions before you sign and shows what balances will actually change, which is meaningfully useful when you are approving contracts you have not read. OKX Wallet, Trust Wallet and the uncertain rows

OKX Wallet has supported Robinhood Chain since the chain's early adoption period. Whether it comes preloaded or needs adding depends on your app version, and we have not confirmed which — if the network is not in the list, the manual parameters above work.

Trust Wallet is reported to work through its custom EVM network flow. That comes from a single source and we have not independently verified it, so treat it as probable rather than settled and test with a trivial amount first.

Phantom: reported not to support Robinhood Chain

This is the question most people arrive with, because Phantom is the default wallet for a large share of memecoin traders coming from Solana.

Phantom's EVM mode is reported not to support Robinhood Chain. The stated reason is structural: Phantom's EVM support covers a fixed set of chains and does not offer custom network addition, so there is no user-side workaround. This comes from a single source and we could not independently confirm it, so check Phantom's current network list before concluding anything — but plan on needing a second wallet if Phantom is your primary.

That is less disruptive than it sounds. Robinhood Chain is an EVM chain, so a Solana-primary trader needs an EVM wallet regardless; Phantom's EVM mode was only ever a convenience for avoiding one.

Coinbase Wallet: we do not know

We could not confirm Coinbase Wallet support for Robinhood Chain in either direction as of 31 August 2026. No source we trust states that it works, and none states that it does not.

Rather than guess, here is how to check in about a minute. Open Coinbase Wallet's network list and look for Robinhood Chain or chain ID 4663. If it is absent, look for a custom or manual network option — if that exists, the parameters above will work; if it does not, the wallet cannot reach the chain. Then send a trivial amount of ETH to the address on Robinhood Chain and confirm it appears. That test costs cents and settles the question for your specific app version, which is more than any article can do.

Every other wallet round-up for this chain we have seen either omits Coinbase Wallet or asserts a status without a source. An honest gap is more useful than a confident guess.

Which should you use

Buying occasionally on a phone. Robinhood Wallet. Native support, nothing to configure, and the gas subsidy on swaps applies only here.

Trading actively on a desktop. Rabby, for the pre-signature simulation, with MetaMask installed as a fallback for interfaces that expect it. Both need the manual network add once.

Coming from Solana with Phantom. Assume you need a separate EVM wallet and install Rabby or MetaMask. Verify Phantom's current network list yourself before taking our single-source claim as final.

Already using OKX Wallet. Stay there. Support is confirmed; check whether the network is preloaded in your version.

Holding size. Pair a hardware wallet with MetaMask or Rabby. Robinhood Chain uses standard EVM signing, so this should behave as it does on any other EVM network — we have not tested it on this chain specifically, so confirm with a small transaction before moving anything meaningful.

What this comparison doesn't tell you

It does not rank wallets by security in any rigorous sense. We have not audited any of them, and the differences that matter most in practice — how you store your seed phrase, whether you sign approvals you have not read — are behavioural rather than product features.

It also does not cover an active risk specific to adding networks. Fake "add Robinhood Chain" pages exist, and a malicious RPC endpoint can show you fabricated balances and route your transactions somewhere you did not intend. Always confirm the chain ID reads 4663 after adding, and prefer typing the parameters over clicking an add-network button on a site you found through search.

One more thing a wallet does not do: track your position. Wallets show balances, not cost basis or performance, and on a chain where you may hold a dozen tokens from a dozen launches that gap gets wide quickly.
